Fred Perry's  reference the sharp styles of continental Europe, which were later adopted by British subcultures for their smart, simple design. Crafted with pure Oxford cotton - fabric constructed of two contrasting yarns (basically the gold standard for formal shirts) - and a garment wash finish for a long lifetime. Finished with yarn-dyed stripes, branded buttons to the placket, collar, and cuffs, and a flat knit tipped gusset on the hem - a subtle signature of  shirting.
